The 360 Urban Resort Hotel is the first designer hotel in Kuching. It is located in Tower A, atop the Hock Lee shopping center. This new hotel tower will complement the existing 360 Hotel operation, and together will offer guests an integrated 273 rooms that will offer a mix of standard, deluxe and suites rooms from RM 99 NETT. The new hotel tower is slated to begin operations in late 1st quarter 2011.

The project interior design is by renowned Philippine architects Yolanda and Romulo Reyes of YDR design in association with local architects, Perunding Dayacipta and 360 Hotels’ conversion team.

Working with 360 Hotels and the Hock Lee Group, the architectural team sought to develop an internationally accreditable urban resort in the city and at the same time, reflects the local traditions of Malaysia.

Among the prominent signatures are the colorful hotel carpet and the immense waterfall framing the onyx front desk.

This new Urban Resort Concept blends the immediacy and convenience of being in a central Kuching location with the quiet, emotional indulgences of a peaceful, luxurious resort. It’s like being away from it all and right in the heart of it all at once and most importantly at an unbelievably affordable price.

Additional features like in room complimentary internet access and common area wi-fi are the standard fare for all 360 Hotel.

All public areas All public areas within the hotel are spacious and exude warmth and intimacy. The gracious granite lobby, the waterfall and its front desk create an otherworldly feel and will leave guests with a lasting first impression.

The use of traditional wicker furniture throughout the lounge will also add to this warm and cozy feeling. This feel extends to the level 4 Resort floor where guests will find the swimming pool surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, water features & sunbathing decks. From this level the expansive views of the river, landmark DUN complex, the Santubong mountains and eastward towards the Borneo Convention Center Kuching (BCCK) is nothing short of spectacular.

Adequate meeting facilities for the MICE market are also available on level 4 as well as a fully equipped business center.

Guest Rooms and Suites
The hotel (Towers A & B ) features a total of 273 guest rooms, comprising 18 suites, 209 rooms, 1 Presidential suite (on the 13th floor) and 45 serviced apartments. Room interiors combine a blend of international and local touches. Soft furnishings are warm and inviting, set against earthy wooden tones.

Restaurants
In keeping with the ‘value concept’, the coffee house will feature a wide range of local delicacies and international dishes at very affordable prices. Other food choices also exist within the shopping center and guests are free to ‘order up’ to either their room or the pool deck.
